Almost Legally Married (1)
The vicar allowed everyone to take pictures after the formal bit, but did point out that Nu and Mark were almost married - they still had to sign the register, so could pull out if they wanted.

The poor girl was freezing and really didn't want to smile. She just wanted to get warm.

Nu and Uncle Paul
People were starting to lose track of which photos had been taken, so Nu's Uncle Paul took control of the situation.

The Hindu Ceremony Room
Normally the Hindu ceremony is conducted outside, but as there is always a good chance of rain and cold in England, it was performed inside. The white canopy is the Sacred Mandap where the ceremony took place.

The Saris
The saris worn by the women were absolutely gorgeous. Apparently they weigh a fair bit too. I'm glad I was wearing my nice light Woolies (SA) suit.

Now We're Ready
Nu has just received good wishes from her family members. At the same time, they tie these little chimes to her wrists. They may look huge, but you're actually looking at a lot of little chimes all connected together.

I think this is a sign of good luck and wishing prosperity on someone. This chap did it a couple of times through the evening on his way to tipping someone. This tip when to one of the drummers.
