Finally!!! Some pictures of Colin and Claire's lovely new flat. We've included pictures taken the day we moved in and how the place looks now that it's been redecorated and lived in.

Passage - Decorated
Looking down out passage after decoration. The end it like a mini-office with my computer desk filling what would otherwise be dead space.

In conjunction with Geobloggers.com and Google Maps, I've managed to get the pic of our flat to appear in the description. Cool huh?

Bathroom
Well, it all started off painted that horrible blue. So we decided to try and strip the paint, only to find it's got horrible 60's Rose Pink underneath. We've opted to leave the bathroom for the moment.

Day 1 - In the Beginning (1)
In the beginning... everything looked horrible. Mad flash back from the 60's with rose pink tiles that someone tried to cover with blue paint. We tried to remove some of it, but it just didn't look right.

Day 3 - End of the Day
I'm getting into the swing of things and managed to lay 10 more tiles be the end of the day. A bit of waiting was required as I've only got a short support batton.

Full Tiles Done (1)
All the full tiles are down. A bit of a balancing act done with the loo. I put it onto an old floor board and rested it on the tiles I'd already laid. This spread the weight across 3 tiles.

Full Tiles Done (2)
I didn't bother cleaning the tiles as I laid them as I'm not the tidiest of tilers

Full Tiles Done (3)
After 3 hours I could walk on the tiles (carefully), so I took the time to wipe off all the dried tile adhesive. It's starting to look really nice now.
