This is a post just for the sake of a post. It's to commemorate the occasion that is the 1000th post on this blog since it's inception way back on 18 August 2003. Now by most "bloggers" standards, this is a pitiful number, but given that I don't write about anything and everything here - I keep my techie and ...
Welcome ladies and gentlemen to the new look colinseymour.co.uk:
As you can see, we're essentially the same as the last theme, just we're now sporting a lighter colour scheme with a lot more blue and white with a hint of yellow. No more brown.
I've also moved the whole site across to a different server, so things may be slightly ...
Ladies and gentlemen, may I present to you the latest and greatest design on this site...
It's taken me the best part of a year to get all my soldiers in a row ready for me to go live this weekend, and so far so good. The migration from Wordpress to Habari went beautifully well and the only problems I've ...
Just a little warning to say colinseymour.co.uk will be undergoing some radical changes over the next few days (you may have noticed some more subtle changes already) as I slowly prepare for my migration across to a new blogging platform (Habari if you must know). colinseymour.co.uk is now running on Wordpress 2.5 RC2. Hopefully this will iron out some of the niggles I encountered with RC1. If you're tempted to upgrade, check out the screencast showing some of the cool new features.
Update: Upgraded to the official Wordpress 2.5 release now.
It's been a while since I last updated the backend software, so will be doing it now. Things may go a bit wonky for a while, but don't worry, I'm on to it.
I'll update this post when things are all done and back to normal.
Update: All done. Everything should be working as expected. If you find something that ...
