It's now 16:42 UK time and we're home and will be staying put for the rest of the evening and probably most of tomorrow. We've done the week's grocery shopping and the washing is on, now just to try keep out eyes open to tempt our bodies into thinking it's not 08:42 California time. Sadly, this is the last leg of our trip. We're heading up Highway 1 back to San Francisco :-( . There's not likely to be any more posts until we get back, but then we'll have loads of news to write about.

Well, I think we've had enough crunchy side for one holiday. It's time to head to the sea side. You can't travel half way round the world and not go to the sea side, so that's where we're going today. We're heading for Monterey.

Now for some Yosemite action. We're moving onto the small town of Midpines just the other side of Yosemite National Park. This will be our base to adventure and discover the more westerly and southern parts of Yosemite National Park.
I'm quite looking forward to this drive too as it'll take us right through the middle of the park.

Today we're heading out of the cities and into the crunchy side. We've got a 166 mile trip from Napa to the edge of Lake Tahoe to cover. It'll take about 3 hours, but we'll obviously stretch it a bit and take in the sights. Might even stop in Sacramento to see what's potting.
