I couldn’t agree more. I’m not the least bit religious, but I detest the over-commercialisation of Christmas. If I had it my way, Christmas would only become “a thing” from 16 Dec, which happens to be a public holiday in 🇿🇦, which was the “Christmas starts now” signal for us.
